The Greenhouse Misting Process
The process of greenhouse misting is used to cool the air and control the humidity level within the greenhouse. Misting systems provide this result by evaporative cooling or spraying mist into the air that evaporates immediately because the mist is very fine. This cools the temperature and raises the humidity levels which plants need to grow. Misting fans also provide evaporative cooling but they also circulate the air. This allows the greenhouse to maintain the coolness throughout the building and prevents one area from remaining hotter than another area. A professional can assist in determining which type of system would perform best based on the conditions within the greenhouse.
