The Organization Behind the AARP Homeowners Insurance
The AARP Homeowners Insurance is backed by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). The organization offers myriad of discounts and services to its members who are 50 years old and older. Anyone who meets the age requirement and pays the annual fee amounting to $12.50 may join the organization and take advantage of its offerings, including wellness information and advocacy. So far, the AARP has 36 million members and majority of them are not yet retired. The non-profit organization partners with various private health insurance companies to provide quality health insurance to its members. Some health insurance plans provided by AARP to members are basic, major and supplemental.
