Ares and a Long Winter
When it comes to winters here in Alaska, you have to get creative with ways to keep yourself entertained, or go crazy. The first few years my husband and I lived here, I watched a lot of television and read a lot of books during the winter. But pretty soon I started wanting more variety, and found myself trying out new indoor hobbies. So far this year one of my favorites is listening to music from all over the world through Ares. It seems so crazy to listen to the newest Latin sounds all the way out here, but it’s a great way to pass the time!
