I was so happy to find a job that did not require me to go downtown anymore. I have grown to loathe the congestion and chaos in the city. A week before I was suppose to start my new job in the suburbs, I got a call. It was someone in the human resources department calling to tell me I needed to register for my classes. When I asked her what she was talking about, she explained that all new employees needed to take a 2 week maintenance training course located in the city. It figures, it’s like I will never get out of that place!
