Black Wii Launches In UK
Nintendo launched their black Wii console in the UK in time for Christmas 2009. It’s proven to be a popular choice with gamers – possibly because so many Wii consoles are used in living rooms instead of bedrooms. The black colour is usually going to be a better march for the flat screen TV, the cable box, the DVD player and all the other electronic gadgetry which clutters our living space these days. It was interesting to note that the black option was launched in the UK before it was released in the USA a fact which Nintendo say demonstrates their commitment to the European market.
