Taking the kids to St Patrick’s Day in Ireland
My children are going crazy about St Patrick’s Day at the moment, because with the lead up to March 17th, they’re learning about it at school. So, I was thinking of taking them both, to see what its like celebrated over there, and it’s really not that expensive. Everyone thinks that the celebrations are purely about getting drunk, but there’s actually so much for the children to do, including plays, treasure hunts, bouncy castles and traditional music. We’re all going to paint shamrocks on our faces too, which is going to be brilliant – I think I am nearly as excited as they are.
